In 1922, Theodore Vail, President of AT&T and Chief Architect of the Bell System, commissioned the design of an Italian-style palazzo in Morristown, NJ. Almost one hundred years later, this historic mansion and former Morristown Town Hall became 36 luxury condominium units in the heart of downtown Morristown. The Mansion’s renovation, undertaken by a joint venture of Roseland Property Company, Woodmont Properties and The Applied Companies, includes 2,400 square feet of retail space, a basement amenity area for residents, and public parking for the community theater as well as reserved garage parking for residents. This project was done in partnership with the Morristown Parking Authority.
