Located in the heart of Morristown and adjacent to the Morristown Train Station, The Highlands provides easy access to Morristown’s business and entertainment districts as well as easy transit to New York City. The project incorporates formerly underutilized NJTRANSIT-owned land for the first partnership between NJTRANSIT and a private sponsor for a mixed-use transit village. The Highlands is a 217-unit, luxury multi-family rental community with 8,025 square feet of ground floor retail space and a 722-space parking garage divided for private residents as well as public commuters. The Highlands was sponsored by a partnership between Roseland Property Company and Woodmont Properties and backed by PGIM Real Estate as part of a larger masterplan for downtown revitalization in Morristown. The Highlands opened in 2010.
